Ahmedabad, the biggest city of Gujarat, is famous for celebrating any festival from small to big ones. One of them is the Kite Festival, also known as Makar Sankranti (Uttarayan), the sign for welcoming the summer and the harvest season for farmers.
Like every year, Ahmedabad crowd wants to gets soaked into the sky filled with the hues of Patang Mahotsav 2020. People of Gujarat are awaiting to make the most fun during this vibrant annual Kite Festival 2020 in Ahmedabad witnessing winters turning into summers, where the sky is donned with colorful kites of all shapes and sizes.
The kite flyers and expert kite makers from India and across the globe participate in the International Kite Festival at Ahmedabad to compete and show their expertise and skills in the art of kite flying. The delectable highlights of the kite festival in Ahmedabad include mid-air competition of flying multiple kites on a string, artistic kites of various characters, sport kites, box kites to high-speed windsocks, and much more.
This year, the 2020 International Kite Festival starts from 7th to 14th January at different venues of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Porbandar, and more places across the state. The entry is generally free for all visitors.

BRTS Electric Bus service available for free to pick-up & drop from the location of the Flower Show 2020 to the Kite Festival.
