History
Sultan Ahmed Shah in 1411 A.D. who laid the foundation of a very new city and named it Ahmedabad after the four saints in that area by the name Ahmed. In 2010, Ahmedabad was also ranked third in the list of well-known magazine Forbes as one of the fastest growing cities of the decade.
